Testing can help you understand yourself or your child in a different way. You can gain deep insights into your personality, strengths, and areas for growth, enhancing your self-awareness and personal development.
-
Testing can identify learning disorders or cognitive strengths, helping students access appropriate support and accommodations for academic success.
-
Testing can also help you access services that you need to thrive.
-
Vocational assessments can assist in finding a career path that aligns with your interests, skills, and values, leading to job satisfaction and fulfillment.
-
Psychological evaluations can diagnose and guide treatment for mental health conditions, contributing to improved emotional well-being and life satisfaction.

Evaluation Process
Step 1: Initial Consultation
The evaluation process begins with a free 15-minute telephone or video consultation to determine if Verdant Psychology can meet your needs. If we're a suitable match, your assigned clinician will collaboratively devise a testing strategy tailored to your goals and provide you with a comprehensive cost estimate for the evaluation. We will then schedule the testing sessions and initiate your onboarding process.
Step 2: Onboarding
After the initial consultation, you will receive a digital package of intake documents to complete before your first testing appointment. These documents include various forms such as financial policies, self-report questionnaires, consent forms, and authorization for information release.
Step 3: Testing Session(s)
The length of the testing phase depends on the evaluation plan. During these sessions, your clinician will gather information about your background and current concerns, and you will engage in a variety of measures to assess different areas of your functioning. If changes are needed to the evaluation plan during testing, your clinician will talk to you about them, including any fees that may be affected.
Step 4: Feedback Session
In the feedback session, your clinician will walk you through the final evaluation report, with a focus on you or your child’s strengths, weaknesses, diagnoses, recommendations, and referrals. Ample time is given to you to ask questions and gain clarification so that you leave the feedback session with the answers that you came for. Our aim is to bridge the gap between your concerns and your desired destination in life. Reports are usually completed within 5 business days of testing and data collection.
